With the Floating Solar Power Plant Efficiency Map, the most technically and economically suitable areas for the installation of floating solar power plants in the dam reservoir were determined, and areas where more efficiency could be achieved at lower costs were revealed.

   Along with the field studies, feasibility analyses and seismic investigations carried out at the Gökçekaya Dam belonging to DSİ, shadowing, wind, wave analysis, water evaporation rate, financial analysis, energy production estimates and solar productivity maps were prepared.

    This report, a first in Turkey, is a critical guide for the technical and economic sustainability of floating solar power plants.
